Dennis W. Heider, RCE
Principal Engineer

Dennis Heider has over 30 years of experience in the Soils & Material Testing Construction Industry and is the Principal Engineer and owner of Heider Engineering Services, Inc. He founded the company in 1996 with the goal of creating a company that offers technical excellence, integrity, and personal service to their clients. He is a 1978 graduate of University of Missouri, Rolla, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

Monica "Nikki" Heider
President

As president and owner of Heider Engineering, Nikki oversees all aspects of business operations, including finance, personnel management, profit control, and future growth. A graduate of Indiana State University, Nikki has extensive management experience in both corporate and small business settings. She became President of the company in 2002. Ms. Heider has a high standard of ethics and believes in "building relationships" with clients by providing prompt service with competitive fees.

Larry Novasel
Business Development

Larry is responsible for business development and oversees the estimating, proposing, and contract negotiations of future projects. Larry started as a special inspector with Heider Engineering Services, Inc. in 1997. He has extensive experience with job site inspection and plan reading. He strives to provide our clients with an accurate and fair market price estimate. Mr. Novasel holds certifications as an inspector for Prestressed Concrete, Reinforced Concrete, Fire Proofing, Structural Masonry, and Structural Steel & Welding.

Steven Runyan, EIT
Staff Engineer

Steven is the laboratory manager at Heider Engineering Services and oversees lab operations including materials and soils testing. He received his Bachelor or Science in Civil Engineering from the Califoria State University, Fullerton in 2010. Steven is a member of the American Concrete Institute and the American Society of Civil Engineers

Jeremy "Jay" Winscher
Senior Inspector

Jay started with Heider Engineering Services as a part time college student in 1997. Through his career he has gained extensive experience and knowledge in a full range of field inspections and quality assurance construction inspection, including soils and asphalt services. He holds certifications for Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed Concrete, Structural Masonry, DSA Masonry, Fire Proofing, and Structural Steel & Welding.
